TomTom GO 740 Live

TomTom GO 740 Live is a new navigation device. It has a built in wireless data connection which can be used to check the live traffic data using Google search. It calculates the fastest route from one point to another. The design is good and it measures 3.4 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 0.9 inches thick at its center but is thinner at the edges. It has a 4.3 inch of full color touch screen which supports 480×272 pixel resolutions. It has a single speaker. TomTom GO 740 Live’s battery life is 3 hours. 

The features are very easy to use and the users can search for restaurants and business. They will receive detailed information including the ratings and payment types expected. Weather forecast can be accessed. You can also send instant messages to your friends who use similar TomTom devices. It also features IQ Routes. You can correct the inaccurate map data like the street address, turns speed limits or traffic direction manually. The user interface is good with bright and easy to read icons, text and images. The drawback of the device is that the route calculations are a little slow especially from a moving vehicle. Also the high entry cost includes around three months of service. Overall TomTom GO 740 has a good performance and is found to be slightly superior to other similar devices in the market.
