Tropico 3- Xbox 360

Kalypso Media have announced the release of their new adventure game, Tropico 3 for Xbox 360 platform. The company stated in its press release that the game will only be made available for the Xbox 360 platform. The game has been developed by Haeminont and is slated for release in September 2009. The ESRB has rated this game as TEEN for violence and suggestive themes. The game is another member of the hit Tropico game family, the earlier games being Tropico: Paradise Island and Tropico: Pirate Cove. Both these games were available for PC platform and were a hit. Kalypso Media enters the elusive next generation console gaming market with this game. But this time, Kalypso have favoured Xbox 360 over all other platforms.

The single player game is actually a business strategy game with decent graphics. Screen shots released over the internet at regular times. In the game, the player takes the role of “El Presidente”, the ruler of an island in the Caribbean. The plot is set during the Cold War era in 1950s. The game features comprehensive campaign with 15 varied missions. A wide range of business sectors like tourism, petroleum, mining, agriculture etc are features in the gameplay. The innovative timeline editor allows you to create your own historic events. Your character can wonder the island as El Presidente and change the course of play. El Presidente can also give political speeches and edicts to defend his actions in front of the people. A wide range of editing and modification functions support mission generator and map editor.
